Although the market ended today’s trading activities in the green, we maintained that, it may not post any serious recovery until the fourth quarter earnings season fully takes off. In our prior reports, we noted that, despite the consistent down trend, good numbers of listed equities did not actively participated in the straight fall (although they now sell at very attractive prices). We therefore conclude that taking advantage of low priced equities is an intelligent investment strategy. Please understand that such equities should be selected after establishing the possibilities of receiving cash dividend when the expected full year audited result is finally made available to the investing public.

As at the time this report was gathered, Brent Crude sells at 59.31$/bbl, this is 19Bpts above the previous close price.

The I&E FX Window opened at N364.50 traded as high as N368.35 before rounding up at N364.38, having transacted a total of $204.71 million through the day. Please note that, margin between the close and open value is 15Bpts down. We are of the opinion that the FX-Market will trade within same range tomorrow. See below table for Lagos BDC Fx-Rates.
