As the market awaits the listing of Airtel Africa Plc on the floor of the exchange on the next trading day, the market capitalization of the listed equities will again build its year to date returns, please note that this do not in any way signify market recovery, traders should rather play by the index movements and performances on equities in their respective portfolios. In other words avoid running after supposed gains that the market will experience due to the listing.

We maintained that traders should take timely advantage of the half year earnings which is expected to start hitting the market from next trading week. Few equities with March financial year end are also expected to release their half year performance indices. Kindly play accordingly.

As at the time this report was gathered, Brent Crude sells at 63.97$/bbl, this is 14Bpts below the previous close price.
