The “ill wind blows no one no good” and so challenging it is in the today’s banking, which faces two dimensional challenges- domestic economic headwinds and globally-induced crisis that arise with trade and financing linkages.

Since 2008 economic crisis, global banks have been beset by multi-faceted challenges, like governance issues; defaults, leading to poor asset quality; declining and unsteady profit line; foreign exchange crisis; and general impact of falling consumer spending. These, with their inter-links, have direct and indirect consequences on banking.
